Growing up in Guangdong, Guangzhou, my childhood was steeped in the rich traditions of Chinese medicine, where the use of herbs, insects, and animals to create healing remedies was a part of everyday life. These practices, passed down through generations, are more than just remedies—they represent a deep connection to nature and a profound understanding of its potential to heal. As I reflect on these traditions, I realize the immense value they hold, not just for those familiar with them but for the world at large.

With this in mind, I have been inspired to start a library dedicated to Chinese medicine, where these ancient practices can be preserved, studied, and shared. My goal is to create a space where the wisdom of my ancestors can be accessed by anyone who seeks to understand the natural world’s role in promoting health and well-being. This library will not only serve as a repository of knowledge but also as a bridge between cultures, helping to bring the benefits of Chinese medicinal practices to a broader audience. By sharing these time-honored techniques, I hope to contribute to the global appreciation and understanding of traditional medicine, ensuring that this invaluable heritage continues to thrive for future generations.
